Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all tours and motorcycle hire services provided by Motopilgrim (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking, hiring, or participating, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (“PTR 2018”).

You must:

• Be at least 25 [get in touch if younger]
• Hold a valid UK or recognised international motorcycle licence appropriate for the motorcycle hired
• Be physically and legally fit to ride
• Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication

We reserve the right to refuse service where safety or legal requirements are not met.

• A Package under PTR 2018 (e.g. motorcycle tour plus accommodation and/or transport sold together or at an inclusive price)
• A Linked Travel Arrangement (LTA) under PTR 2018
• A standalone service, such as motorcycle hire only or a single tour

Where your booking qualifies as a Package, you will be informed at the time of booking and provided with the required statutory information.

• All bookings are subject to availability
• Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking
• Prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise
• Bookings are non-transferable without our written consent

Tours and Packages

• Cancellation terms will be confirmed at booking
• Where PTR 2018 applies, your rights to cancel, amend, or receive refunds will be in accordance with those Regulations
• You may be entitled to cancel without charge in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination

Motorcycle Hire

• No refunds for early returns or unused hire periods

We may cancel or amend services due to weather, safety concerns, mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
Where PTR 2018 applies, you will be offered a suitable alternative or refund as required by law.

By hiring a motorcycle, you agree that:

• You are fully responsible for the motorcycle during the hire period
• Only the named, authorised rider may operate the motorcycle
• The motorcycle will be used lawfully and responsibly at all times
• The motorcycle will not be used for racing, stunts, off-road riding (unless agreed), or illegal activity

You are responsible for all penalties, fines, congestion charges, parking charges, and legal costs incurred during the hire period.

• A refundable security deposit may be required
• You are liable for loss, theft, damage, recovery costs, and excessive cleaning
• Normal wear and tear is excluded
• Repair or replacement costs may exceed the deposit amount

• Insurance details will be explained before hire or tour commencement
• Insurance may exclude damage caused by negligence, reckless riding, intoxication, or unauthorised use
• Any excess or uninsured costs are your responsibility

Motorcycle riding and adventure tours involve inherent risks. You agree to:

• Follow all instructions provided by staff or guides
• Wear legally required safety equipment (approved helmet mandatory)
• Ride within your ability and prevailing conditions

We may take photographs or video during tours for promotional purposes.
If you do not consent, you must notify us in writing before the tour begins.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, we are not liable for:

• Loss or damage to personal property
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers outside a Package arrangement

Where you purchase a Package from us, you are fully protected under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.

This protection includes:

• A refund of payments made if we become insolvent
• Repatriation, where transport is included in the Package

Details of the insolvency protection provider will be supplied at the time of booking where applicable.

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

By participating in any tour or motorcycle hire with [Company Name] Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
   Motorcycle riding and guided tours involve inherent risks, including accidents, injury, property damage, and death. You voluntarily accept these risks insofar as they are not caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
2. Release of Claims
   To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, you agree not to hold [Company Name] Ltd, its employees, guides, or agents liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from your participation, except where caused by our negligence or breach of legal duty.
3. Indemnity
   You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, or damages arising from your actions, misuse of equipment, or breach of these Terms.
4. Fitness to Participate
   You confirm that you are medically, physically, and legally fit to participate and accept responsibility for your own safety.
5. Binding Agreement
   This waiver is binding on you and, where legally permitted, your heirs and legal representatives.
